Dutch Structuring Technologies
Dutch Structuring Technologies is developing advanced scalable technology to help food manufacturers produce high-quality, plant-based meat and fish alternatives efficiently and sustainably.
Achievement
Development of Game-Changing Technology DST has developed the patented Continuous High Shear (CHS) technology, which significantly reduces energy consumption (3-4 times less than traditional methods) and enhances the production efficiency of plant-based meat alternatives. Scalable Production Successfully scaled up the CHS technology to a capacity of 200-300 kg per hour, with further plans to develop a machine capable of 1000 kg per hour, demonstrating a clear pathway for industrial-scale production. Strong Client Pipeline and Partnerships Established a robust client pipeline, including top-tier supermarket chains, well-known brands, and food service sectors. These partnerships validate the market demand and commercial viability of DST’s technology. Patent and Certification Achievements Secured patents for the innovative CHS technology, which underscores the uniqueness and protectability of their solution in the competitive plant-based meat market. Operational Facility Established a production facility in Zwaag, which is set to produce at industrial scale and serves as a demonstration hub for potential global clients. Product Development and Innovation Developed new plant-based meat alternatives such as kebab, chicken, and beef, which utilize clean-label ingredients and offer superior texture and taste compared to existing market options. Sustainability and Efficiency Achieved significant milestones in sustainability by creating a streamlined production process that minimizes waste and maximizes resource efficiency, contributing to both climate action and responsible consumption
